Many  of you have shared with us that you pray daily. That is so humbling! Thanks also  to all of you who give to us so we can do what we do.<\/p>\n<p>There are a couple  things we need you to <strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">pray<\/span><\/strong> for.<\/p>\n<p>First some background on the first request:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #b22222\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Kabuhayon <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>is the tribal word for \u201c<span style=\"color: #b22222\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">LIFE<\/span><\/span>\u201d  and usually means <span style=\"color: #b22222\"><strong>\u201ceternal  life<\/strong><\/span>\u201d \u2013 it\u2019s something the spirits promised them in their old  culture but of course were <span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><strong>never <\/strong><\/span>able to give them.<\/p>\n<p>Now however, they have found  \u201c<strong>Kabuhayon<\/strong>\u201d through believing the good news of Jesus Christ and  His finished work on Calvary.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->This coming November, the church wants to  invite people from some key villages where the gospel has not yet gone. They  want this to be a multi-day event so they can share with them that they have  found \u201cKabuhayon\u201d and challenge them to listen to the teaching from God\u2019s  written Word.<\/p>\n<p>They have scheduled the meeting for November because  that\u2019s at the end of their traditional rice harvest season and they plan on  using that rice to feed everyone who comes. However, <span style=\"font-size: 14px\">there\u2019s<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 18px\">a  problem<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b22222\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">It\u2019s  raining!!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #b22222\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Please pray for dry  weather!<\/span><\/span> They have been busy cutting under brush and trees that,  once dried out, will be burned and then readied for planting mountain rice. We  have had almost daily rains lately that have kept them from burning off. Please  pray for dry weather so they can burn off, plant their rice and have a good  harvest. Without this they won\u2019t feel free to have this meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The  other thing we need you to please pray for is the <span style=\"color: #b22222\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">seminar <\/span><\/span>coming up on the 9<sup>th<\/sup>. People will start to gather from  the outreach villages at the end of this week.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt solid\" src=\"http:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/9a36c24a50d142c8dc98694e9\/images\/Attendees.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" \/><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Please pray for <strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">safety <\/span><\/strong>as they travel here. Pray for an  <strong><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">encouraging<\/span> <\/strong>time as they  share God\u2019s Word with one another. They usually have around <span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><span style=\"color: #b22222\">70-80  people<\/span><\/span> in attendance so it will be a busy time for the village  with the influx of visitors.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12px\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Okay, that&#8217;s all for this  time&#8230; thank you again for praying for us and the Higaunon.<\/p>\n<p>Secure in  Christ&#8217;s love,<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Lance &amp;  Laura<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear partners in ministry!
