The Higaunon will now have the book of Joshua and Psalms 1-43 that they can sit down and read for themselves in their own language! \nToday is Good Friday where, here in the Philippines, many flagellants reenact Christ’s death. They whip themselves until they bleed expecting to help themselves enter heaven. (You can search online for pictures if you’re interested.) Tomorrow is “Black Saturday;” concerned that Christ is dead and cannot protect them, traditional Filipinos do not travel very far. They do not understand that Christ accomplished His goal. He said, “It is FINISHED” and the wrath of God was satisfied once and for all<\/strong><\/span>! Please pray <\/strong><\/span>for the Gospel to continue to reach the people in this country and around the world! Pray for laborers!<\/p>\n
