It is another goal reached during our visit this year. The Higaunon will now have the book of Joshua and Psalms 1-43 that they can sit down and read for themselves in their own language! <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Thank you for praying!<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nToday is Good Friday where, here in the Philippines, many flagellants reenact Christ&#8217;s death. They whip themselves until they bleed expecting to help themselves enter heaven. (You can search online for pictures if you&#8217;re interested.) Tomorrow is &#8220;Black Saturday;&#8221; concerned that Christ is dead and cannot protect them, traditional Filipinos do not travel very far. They do not understand that Christ accomplished His goal. He said, &#8220;It is FINISHED&#8221; and the wrath of God was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>satisfied once and for all<\/strong><\/span>! <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Please pray <\/strong><\/span>for the Gospel to continue to reach the people in this country and around the world!
