October 2017 is history already! <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2715\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2016\/03\/image21-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"327\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2016\/03\/image21-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2016\/03\/image21-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2016\/03\/image21.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 327px) 100vw, 327px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Travels:<\/span><\/strong> Our last update was written prior to our trip to Wisconsin and Michigan to see ministry partners and to speak in the two <a href=\"http:\/\/e360bible.org\/\">Ethnos360 Bible Institutes<\/a>. Praise God with us for a great trip, wonderful fellowship and hopefully some lives challenged for future missionary careers! Thank you for praying for us. We had a couple of close calls while driving and definitely saw God\u2019s protection over us.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead to next week we are going on a missions trip to Arizona with our local church! Please pray for God\u2019s work in and through us and for the people HE would have us impact for His Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Post surgery trials<\/span><\/strong>: Upon our return home Lance had a post surgery check up with the urologist who did his surgery in early September. Due to scar tissue he had to have a painful removal of it. He\u2019s endured two such procedures (a week apart) He has another appointment in about 2 1\/2 weeks. The Dr gave us the hope that this will not be a long term issue. Please pray to that end.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Translation:\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong>The translation of 1 Chronicles is slow and difficult but we praise the Lord for progress being made. Thank you for praying for wisdom. Praise the Lord with us for His provision of a new computer. It makes the job much easier using tools that work well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Adoption:<\/span> <\/strong>Our daughter and son-in-law continue the process of adoption of a precious little boy in East Asia.
