Road Trip:<\/strong><\/span> God has been so gracious to us! We had a wonderful road trip last month. We traveled to Alabama, Florida, South and North Carolina, (the pictures in this email were taken in North Carolina) to Tennessee and back to our Oklahoma home. The Lord blessed us with some wonderful times connecting with friends who partner with us in the ministry to the Higaunon people of the Philippines, as well as getting to see some family members! Lance spoke 7 times – in supporting churches, a home group and a couple of Sunday school classes.<\/p>\n

Work<\/strong><\/span>: Lance continues to work on initial draft translation of the book of Ezra. He\u2019s also been facilitating an online Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills<\/a> course for missionaries based in several different countries (the beauties of Internet!)<\/p>\n

Plans:<\/strong> <\/span>Robert and his fiance Rhoda are planning their wedding here in Oklahoma, November 30. It will be held at the church he attended when he lived here. What was supposed to be a surprise to us but they thought better of it, our daughter is coming for the wedding. She has a dual purpose in that she needs to get finger printed for her work visa. We’re looking forward to having our children with us, however briefly.<\/p>\n

Tickets:<\/strong> <\/span>We are currently shopping for tickets for our return to the Philippines. God willing we’ll leave the end of January and return to the US the beginning of June. We’ve had one friend who has said he wants to give towards the purchase of the tickets; if you’re interested in helping with that, just let us know. During our time in the Philippines, we plan to do the initial checking of Ezra and the final checking of 1 and 2 Kings, as well as an SYIS<\/a> workshop in Manila.<\/p>\n
