Arrival<\/span>:<\/strong> Greetings from our mountain village home in the Philippines! We arrived in the country three and a half weeks ago. God blessed us with a wonderful week with our daughter and family in Manila after our arrival. We had quality time with the grandkids while their mom and dad did work they needed to do.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Sickness<\/span>: <\/b>Towards the end of our stay in Manila we got sick with a bad virus. Despite that, we flew down to Mindanao and spent most days just resting at our guest house, waiting to feel better. We did go out a couple of times to do some supply buying, but then we would go back and rest because it wore us out. This virus has really hit us hard. We both have coughs and general weakness. Please pray we can get to feeling \u2018normal\u2019 soon.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the <\/span>village<\/span>:<\/strong> The Lord allowed us to get into our village on Wednesday this week. He gave us the grace to get mostly settled in the first day. Laura has been busy with her daily routine but Lance has mainly been resting as he still feels awful. Pray for us as we wait on the LORD to renew our strength.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Thank you\u00a0<\/span><\/b>for praying for our trip and our time here in the Philippines. We hope soon to be doing the final comprehension check with Ron, Michelle and the translation assistants on 1 & 2 Kings. When those books are done, Lance will do the initial check on Ezra with his translation assistant. You are vital to this ministry!
