{"id":61,"date":"2008-05-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-05-01T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-05-01T12:44:56","modified_gmt":"2008-05-01T16:44:56","slug":"i-promise-you-it-will-hurt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/2008\/05\/01\/i-promise-you-it-will-hurt\/","title":{"rendered":"I promise you it will hurt!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2008\/05\/1275_37523.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2008\/05\/1275_37523.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>As I write this, Laura is at JFK waiting for her flight to Syracuse.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor offered to remove my stent yesterday but said, &ldquo;I promise you it will hurt!&rdquo;&nbsp; You best believe I opted to wait until Monday when they can schedule a time to <span class=\"boldText-red\">sedate me! <\/span>A friend at church said, &ldquo;I had it taken out without sedation and I&rsquo;d never do it that way again!&rdquo; There you have it; <span class=\"blueText\">I&rsquo;m a wuss!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The doctor wants me to have another scan later this month to make sure all is well. He did say I could have that done in Syracuse; so, I will follow Laura next Wednesday. <span class=\"redText\">(If I last that long! I sure do miss my bride!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our time here in Florida is quickly coming to an end.
