…It’s Happening!

Today ends the first semester of our 07-08 school year at PQQ, our boarding school for children of missionaries here in Brazil. The students all go home and spend 6 weeks with their families.

What has happened during this time? Here at PQQ we have seen our students grow in their walk with the Lord and in the academic subjects they have been studying. Riley, our 8th grade boarding student, has been teaching Sunday School to a class of Brazilian children at one of the “Outreach” locations. He is very burdened to see those who have never heard hear God’s Word.

In the tribal villages, where parents of our students are working, we have reports of growth as well. A conference was held especially for women in one location. The women had all heard the Gospel message before. The Word of God was shared through the message of the conference speakers and many had their eyes opened. “Now I understand, it is for me that he died,” shared one of the native women. Many others made their faith in Christ public at that time. Some asked other Believers to pray for them, that they would be faithful to obey the teaching of God’s Word.

We have encouraged each one of you to “Expand the Reach of the Gospel” through prayer, giving, and going personally to tell the message. We are seeing expansion. Little by little God’s Word is going out.
