“In the beginning was the Word…”

February 7, 2015 by Levi and Robyn Lenz

Ephesians“…and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

Getting the Word into the hands and hearts of unreached people groups around the world is no easy task. Countless hours go into exegetical study, drafting, checking, and re-checking (multiple times) the translated Scriptures. And that’s just to get the printed Word into people’s hands. Perhaps the process of getting it into their hearts can be the subject of another post.

When we’re finally able to put the printed Word into people’s hands, it is such a great accomplishment. After about 3-1/2 years of translation efforts, we are gearing up to print our first Scripture booklets into the Wahgi language. These booklets will include a large portion of Genesis and Exodus as well as many other Old and New Testament Scripture portions that we have used throughout our teaching, and the entire books of Mark and Ephesians. We hope to add to this the books of Acts, Romans, and 1 Corinthians in the near future.

If you would like to know how you can have a part in this project specifically, please find your way to the Contact page and send us an e-mail.
