It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything new, but we’re still here. We have continued to speak in churches most every week and have the next couple months booked as well. Alisha was making decorations for a wedding, which kept her pretty busy for a while, but now that’s done.
So she just started homeschooling the kids this week. We have all the books they need for now, but homeschooling for the first time is going to be challenge. The kids haven’t had to do anything like that either, so it’s not easy for anyone yet. I get to have them for about half an hour each day for some sort of P.E. class. Elroy will be playing soccer this fall, so I’m trying to teach them some very basic basics of this international sport.
We have some friends coming up here next week to help us cut wood for the winter. We still need about 10 cords. So we’ll be busy with that next week. We are still trying to schedule as many meetings with churches and people as we can. Since our departure date was moved to June ’14, we have until the middle of February before we need to be at 75%. We are at 47% currently.
Praise:
-We have been able to get speak at new churches almost every Sunday since early July.
-Help getting wood.
Prayer:
-For people and churches who might support us.
-Homeschooling the kids.
Thanks!
