Christmas in Amdu

12 December, 2012 by Lisa Hatton

My son Benjamin and his wife Missy and their four children, Judah, Gianna, Tiernan and Silas, have just moved in with the Amdu people.  They have been with NTM in training and training others for many years to bring them to this point of beginning a new work of church planting among the Amdu people in Papua New Guinea.  They are just this week,  moving into a very basic newly build home, and will be helping build two more homes for their partnering families over the next few months. Then it will be some years of language learning in order to be able to share God’s story with the people in their own language.

Benjamin and Missy’s blog here is the link to their blog.

I am blessed and privileged to have a small part to play in training students here at NTBI Jackson as they embark on this missionary journey by becoming grounded in God’s Word,  and I am so encouraged to see my son and his family continuing on to reach those who have yet to hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Will you pray for our students here as they are starting out, and for more students to come to learn, and for Benjamin and his family as they reach out.
