>Hi, thanks for visiting! Please check out our links that provides some info. on our future plans.
Here is SA we are starting to see the beginning of spring coming through. Of course the little winter we experienced here was much like a typical summer’s day in the UK. Many of my friends here could not believe that we dressed in short sleeved shirts while they are getting so cold.
All is well with us! The kids are better after having some cold which they picked up during the climate changes due to our travelling. As I have said earlier they are all in school at the moment and doing really well. We are very impressed with the school here on the mission where we are living and we can already see some fruit in their lives. They are attending a Christian school based on the ACE curriculum, with which we are very impressed and hope to also use in our home school in the field. Here’s Madeleen giving me a smile in her new class.
Marie is currently helping at the school because she needs some training. Here she is standing with one of the students to check some of his work.
I have been working on my final Greek assignments, which I have just today completed. I have also been running around to get to a few speaking engagements. This will now all slow down a bit and now I can start helping more on the farm. They are currently experimenting with a green house for tomatoes and here I am making sure the irrigation system is working as it should.
Please continue to pray for us. We are hoping to see as much people as possible, but do not want to force anything. Ps. 127:1, ‘Unless Jehovah builds the house, they labour in vain who build it’. We are therefore praying for invitations. Our hope is that God will work in the hearts of those He wants to use and this requires some faith and patience from our side. Thus do pray that God will open the doors for us and not us.
Also pray with us that God would provide in our future needs. I often find myself worrying about the future. For me things seem impossible, but God has proven Himself to be the great provider in the past and He will do so again if it is His will. Therefore pray with us that we would wait upon Him for our needs and not place our trust in anything else.
Also pray for our witness here in SA. I have learned in this day that God’s kingdom often comes in small way, one to one, and this ask a lots of effort. Math. 13:31, ‘The kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed…’ Do pray for hearts around us to be touched with the truth here in SA while we are preparing ourselves for the future. Here is a last picture of some of my friends with whom I am working.
