>Hi, thanks for visiting and do remember to surf around to some of the other links on this site with some info and photo’s!
Things are very well here in South Africa. We are currently visiting in the Northern parts of South Africa with some very good friends of ours who has been praying for us and supporting us in many different ways. Here is a photo of them.
The past weekend we visited Potchefstroom, a town not very far from where I was born. It was in the most amazing way that we got to know some of the people of this little town. It was only through God’s doing. I met some wonderful people and really had a very blessed time. I had the opportunity to share our calling and a challenge to get involved with the work of the Lord. But I was truly challenged by their lives. I have been challenged once again to truly sacrifice myself and walk the road of the cross rather than the road of the self. My God help us as well as you to truly sacrifice yourself and only then when the corn has died can it grow and bring forth a great harvest. Pray for us that the Lord will also help us to truly walk with Him in such a way! Here I am speaking to some friends of mine.
Not long ago we had a real South African braai with our home church. Here is some pictures of the ‘boerewors’ which we ‘braai’d’.
Back at home I am still enjoying my work in the hostel. It seems to be a daily workout and I have really lost a few kilo’s. Who needs a gym if you can do some physical labour for the Lord! Here I am working with some prefab sheets with which we are building the walls. Do remember to pray that the Lord will provide financially for this work to be completed.
At the Mission we are also assisting some evangelists with building a small classroom in which they start a pre school. This is the first year for the ACE school system and often kids move on from these pre schools to proper ACE schools. This preschool is also a good platform from which the gospel is spread in to kids and parents. Here we are busy building one of this prefab preschools.
Marie and the kids are doing fine. The kids are enjoying school and are currently on a short break for 2 weeks. They are therefore travelling around with us. Here is some photos of them.
