Some prayer points

April 12, 2013 by Lourens Laureti

Hi Friends

Thanks to all of you who pray with us and support us! May God richly bless you for your help. Here are some prayer requests for the next few weeks.

– I’m going to put in extra time to prepare lessons for 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy during these next few weeks. – I will also be doing a ‘Comprehension test for the translation of 1 Timothy. We conduct several tests with each book translated and one of them is to see what the listener / reader understands when he hears/reads Gods Word. We test basically every verse and test what is communicated. – I will also be working on our leadership program that we use to train new potential leaders. – I will go with other missionaries and of our National believers to an island about 4 hours travel on the sea. There are about 10 000 people living on the island and there is the potential of starting a new work there. – We have a new church plant that is starting in a small town on the north coast. It is entirely driven by our believers and the leaders we have already trained. – Pray also for our co workers, Simon and Annika Flanagan. They returned for a visit to their home country and they are expecting their 3rd child but there are complications with the babies’ heart and they might need open heart surgery done soon after the birth.

Greetings and thank you!
