Hi Friends
Its always amazing to see how God is planting His church worldwide but also in Papua New Guinea amongst the Mengen people. Not many years ago they 
were in darkness, but many have placed their trust in Christ and now they are goring into a self-sufficient church!
Just this morning, I received the following prayer request from the Mengen leaders,
“We want to share a prayer point for you to put us in God’s hands as we as Bible teachers and deacons from the Church of Christ in different villages where we have been working in these last years meet in to discuss what the church needs to look like, our needs, etc. We will base our discussions in 1 Corinthians 2 as it will help the workers in the church to understand what the Church needs to look like as it moves ahead in the power of the Holy Spirit. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in these meetings to challenge His children to stand completely in the power of God alone as they lead His work.”
Currently, the to of the churches each have just one Bible teacher teaching some 7 lessons to two different groups (evangelistically & discipleship lessons) and one Bible teacher trainee teaching discipleship lessons to one couple in a village about 2 hours hike from us. As well, another of the missionaries has begun to teach literacy -4 lessons per week for 4 months. They are thus working very very hard. Please pray for them to remain faithful but also find their strength in Him.
