“The other day I was jogging on the airstrip, and three little girls joined me.\u00a0As\u00a0I was huffing and puffing to keep up, Adopo (far left) says, “Keoi (Moi\u00a0language doesn’t have r’s or l’s so my name sounds a bit different here), do you realize all three of us don’t have mothers?” Me, “Oh, you’re right. Awww.”\u00a0 Menadi\u00a0says, “Well, actually Pideondo’s (middle) mom abandoned her, but our two moms died.”\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Me, “Oh so true, hmmmm. Do you girls have sad hearts because you don’t have moms?” Wh<\/span><\/p>\n

All three, <\/span>“Why would we be sad?<\/b><\/span>\u00a0 We have the Creator God as our “mom” and Protector.\u00a0 Jesus is like our “mom.”\u00a0 All we can do is\u00a0 thank Him and offer our bodies and hearts to Him.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Their joyful, thankful attitudes convicted me.\u00a0 May\u00a0we willingly give of\u00a0ourselves however the Lord wants to use us.”<\/p>\n

I love this email that Carolyn Crockett sent out. The understanding and hope that so many have in the remote areas of the world is incredible.<\/p>\n
