In my minds eye I saw a giant billboard announcing that you are now at the end of the world.  We flew past it and beyond&hellip; deep into Moi territory. After 40 hours of travel I arrived at my destination. A Moi village on a lonely hilltop.<\/p>\n<p> <!--StartImportThumbnail--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46530.jpg\" rel=\"thumbnail\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"float:left; margin-right:5px; border: 0.5pt solid #BCC4C8;\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46530.jpg\" alt=\"Moi learn about God\" width=\"150\" title=\"Moi learn about God\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->&nbsp; It was just a couple of years ago that the first Moi elievers were born, and they&rsquo;re eager to delve more into God&rsquo;s Word. Incredibly One man even has the genealogy from Adam to Christ memorized.<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46529.jpg\" rel=\"thumbnail\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"float:left; margin-right:5px; border: 0.5pt solid #BCC4C8;\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46529.jpg\" alt=\"Moi man and child\" width=\"150\" title=\"Moi man and child\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->&nbsp; Their discussions are far from shallow. They&rsquo;re realizing that God is in control, and if they went back to their old ways, they would be trying to control the Creator. They agreed that, &ldquo;We can&rsquo;t even control our kids. What are we thinking when we try to control God?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46534.jpg\" rel=\"thumbnail\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"float:left; margin-right:5px; border: 0.5pt solid #BCC4C8;\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46534.jpg\" alt=\"Recording their songs\" width=\"150\" title=\"Recording their songs\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->&nbsp; The Moi are also turning Old Testament stories into songs. I made some recordings while visiting; these will be part of the online portion of this issue of NTM@work at ntm.org\/magazine.<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46531.jpg\" rel=\"thumbnail\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"float:left; margin-right:5px; border: 0.5pt solid #BCC4C8;\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/macon-hare\/files\/2008\/10\/289_46531.jpg\" alt=\"Moi man and wife\" width=\"150\" title=\"Moi man and wife\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->&nbsp; It is amazing to see look into the eyes of these people. People who were once walking in darkness, now have their eyes lit up with the joy of the Lord. You will see it too, in the beginning of next year, when our video on God&rsquo;s work among the Moi comes out.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"boldText-red\">Together, we are bringing the light of God&rsquo;s message to the tribal peoples who inhabit the remote places of the earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <em><br \/><span class=\"boldText-blue\">Macon and Katy<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"smallText\"><em>You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Matthew 5:14-15<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"boldText-red\">Where is your journey taking you?<\/span><span class=\"normalText\"><span class=\"boldText-red\"> <\/span><span class=\"boldText-red\">Through prayer, you, too, can be trudging up hillside trails in the boots of missionaries!
