One aspect of our ministry is serving our missionary families by putting on education camps for our MK’s (missionary kids). Education Camps are designed to add depth and breadth to the learning experience with interactive, hands-on educational activities.
In the past, we have done modules including science experiments, dissections, astronomy, cooking, tone chimes, art, small engine repairs, country studies like Australia and Denmark, computer applications like Photostory and Google Sketchup, sports activities like hockey and softball, and many others fascinating topics. It is a fun-filled week or learning and growing together.
We are thankful for different folks who have volunteered to come and help us teach these Education Camps. We have had a federal judge come and teach about the court system in the US and do a mock trial. We have had a specialist in reptiles and amphibians come and teach us about the flora and fauna of Paraguay using live specimens. We praise the Lord for folks who have a passion for teaching and pouring their gifts into the lives of our MK’s.
