Ethnos 360<\/h1>\n

New Tribes Mission USA changed their name to Ethnos 360. \u00a0“Ethnos” is the Greek word for “nations,” and 360 indicates all around the globe. \u00a0Their mission remains the same, “A thriving church for every people.” \u00a0They believe this new name will open more opportunities for ministry in a changing world. \u00a0Written below is how you can now address checks, and also a new address to send them to. \u00a0Don’t worry, if you address things to NTM or sent it to the old address, they will still get it. \u00a0If you have automatic giving set up, you don’t need to change anything.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have lots of transitions going on right now. \u00a0We are done with our orientation in Madang region, and we just finished up medical training in Goroka. \u00a0We are now at a New Tribes center getting ready to start bush orientation on Monday. \u00a0This will be a time for us to actually live in a village where there is a church established so that we can learn from local believers and the missionary there. \u00a0We will also continue our pidgin study.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall our boys are doing pretty well. \u00a0Wyck finally started walking, and is enjoying trying to keep up with his brother, as well as learning new words every day. \u00a0Ty continues to enjoy playing with Veggietales toys, watching shows, and doing a little bit of homeschooling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some photos that show some aspects of our lives here. Learning how to cook the PNG way, Wyck putting everything on his head, learning how to open a coconut with a machete, kids playing, Matt with his language helper (By the way, he’s not carrying a purse, but a bilum, which men carry as well), medical class (apparently Matt’s mouth was big enough for everyone to look in at once), Matt preaching at our evening fellowship time, and Ty wrestling with his best bud in Madang region.<\/span><\/p>\n
