You might be a missionary kid if…<\/h1>\n

Your parents\u00a0pack a suitcase for vacation and you assume that you’re moving.<\/span>
\nYou see fish in a pond at a restaurant and ask if that’s what we’re eating.
\nYou are baffled as to why your mom wants you to wear shoes for going to a store.
\nYou know words from more than one language, and\u00a0have wandered around the house saying “diarrhea” in your second language.
\nYou frequently run around shirtless in February.
\nYou think your mom doesn’t know how to drive.
\nYou get cold when it’s 70 degrees out.
\nYou get confused when you hear about\u00a0kids that have a teacher that isn’t their mom.<\/p>\n

Yes, those are all true about our kids. \u00a0They have definitely gotten into a rhythm of what is normal life in PNG. \u00a0They love spending their days running around outside with their friends, and we are so thankful that they are thriving here.<\/p>\n

We’ve gotten into rhythm here too. \u00a0We continue to spend our time teaching at the school, working on our team ministry strategy, homeschooling Ty, helping lead\u00a0an Awana ministry, bringing missionaries\u00a0to the airport, and just doing daily life. \u00a0We are of course anxious to be able to start our ministry in a tribe, but for now we are thankful for how the Lord is using us to serve here.<\/p>\n

Please continue to pray with us about God’s leading and provision for our future ministry, and pray that we can be faithful in our current ones.<\/p>\n

The highlight of our month was Karissa’s cousin and her husband coming to visit us. \u00a0What a joy to have family visit us halfway across the world!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
