\ud83d\ude09<br>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"156\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/31aa8d2d31b3e18299f120386\/images\/0c4698b6-d6e2-fef4-2e9b-a176a0f362e4.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><br>&#8220;How many kids do you have?&#8221; \u00a0&#8220;Thirty-five.&#8221; \u00a0(pause) \u00a0&#8220;Umm&#8230;no&#8230; I mean you personally.&#8221; \u00a0&#8220;Oh. \u00a0Two.&#8221;<br><br>Those of you who are teachers probably totally understand this recent exchange I had with an acquaintance. \u00a0I often say &#8220;my kids&#8221; and have to clarify to people whether I am talking about Ty and Wyck or my students. \u00a0These thirty-five kids are constantly on my mind. \u00a0How can I help them? \u00a0Why are they struggling with this or that concept? \u00a0What are we going to do next week? \u00a0So, now, as we approach the end of the school year, I want to finish well. \u00a0I want to teach them well, love them well, and show them Jesus well. \u00a0Please pray for me to finish well, even as it is really easy for the kids (and me!) to get a little tired at this point in the school year. \u00a0For various reasons, it has been my most difficult year of teaching, and I just really want to love these kids well as we finish out the year.<br><br>Speaking of finishing out the school year, Matt just has a few weeks of the current class that he is taking in his counseling course, and then he will have a break for the summer. \u00a0Pray for him for balance and endurance as he finishes up.<br><br>Finally, please pray for my actual kids \ud83d\ude42 Ty and Wyck as they finish up the school year, and say goodbye to many friends, some who are leaving for the summer, and some for longer.<br><br>Looking forward to this summer feels a little strange. \u00a0Summer is always a quieter time on campus, as many people leave for the summer months. \u00a0This summer will be different for us because Matt will start doing his personnel director role full time, so that will be demanding in a different way. \u00a0Please pray for him in this role, for wisdom and grace. \u00a0Please pray for me to know how God wants me to spend my time, and also that I will not feel lonely as I see others heading back to their home countries to see their families.<br><br>We are so thankful for you. \u00a0Keep persevering in doing good.<br><br>Till all know,<br>Matt, Karissa, Ty, and Wyck<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/31aa8d2d31b3e18299f120386\/images\/9bd7ebaf-de1c-6f4d-1e5d-d9b309124a99.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><br>Matt preached at our church service on campus, and shared about how Jesus was abandoned by God on the cross so that we will never be.<br><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/31aa8d2d31b3e18299f120386\/images\/9ff85429-0b3b-a54d-5086-02348b88ae74.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><br>Ty working on finishing well with his homework. \u00a0Schr\u00f6dinger helped :).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Praise God:<br>&#8211; Wyck is progressing well with his speech therapy<br>&#8211; We have been able to help some folks debrief their terms<br>&#8211; Matt&#8217;s shadowing of the personnel director role has gone well<br>&#8211; We have been able to help some people process some conflict<br>Please Pray:<br>&#8211; for balance and endurance for Matt in his schooling<br>&#8211; for wisdom and grace for Matt in his director role<br>&#8211; for us to have joy and purpose as we serve this summer<br>&#8211; that Karissa can finish off the school year well<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"564\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/31aa8d2d31b3e18299f120386\/images\/35ed77cc-9f6d-1b63-c895-d091c13d7057.jpg\" alt=\"\"><br>What are we supporting?
