2012 Top Ten Countdown – Thankfulness
I’m thankful for:
10. The safety we’ve had on the road despite the fact that we’ve done a substantial amount of traveling this year.
9. The great opportunity we’ve had go to school at the New Tribes Training Center in Missouri this year.
8. Being given the privilege of seeing God provide for so many needs throughout this year (ours and others).
7. The wonderful old friends that we’ve been able to keep in touch with despite moving, and the incredible new friends that we’ve gotten to know in the past few months.
6. Being able to worship together with other Christians and share what I believe without fear of physical persecution. There are always things that we can complain about with our governing systems, but we still have so many freedoms to be thankful for in the US.
5. The opportunity to be a part of missions. Whether it’s through prayer, giving or going, we are privileged to be able to reach out to others and share Christ’s love with them.
4. Our families. They are a consistent source of encouragement and support to us.
3. My children. They’re the most exhausting, amazing, challenging and rewarding ministry opportunities and blessings that I could ask for. I couldn’t imagine our lives without them.
2. My husband. He’s one of the greatest blessings that God has given me in this life, and I’m so thankful for him! Every day we learn a bit more how to love each other the way God intends us to. I’ve truly been blessed to be married to my best friend.
1. Christ’s sacrifice for us all. Without that, we have no hope for ourselves let alone any to offer others. Grace is something that I could never hope to obtain, but it was given to me because of His goodness.
