Rice growing in the valleys between many homes

Michael recently had the opportunity to travel to Southeast Asia.  He soon came to see it as the land of rice.  Rice isn’t something new, he grew up in Colombia with plenty of rice.  In other parts of South America, Mozambique and Tanzania (where he and his family currently serve)  there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy this world-wide staple.  He had never been served rice 3-4 times a day; often with tofu at meals and even in the snacks.  Rice, rice, RICE!

Rice wasn’t why he traveled to that part of the world.  He was helping present at another Language Learning Advisor Course lead by Greg Thomson.  What an amazing opportunity to teach people from all over the world who are working to fulfill the great commission.  The purpose of the course is to “Increase the quantity and quality of relationships between members of unreached people groups and members of the Body of Christ.”  We believe this is happening. Thanks for the part you play.

So how much rice do you eat?
