Wrapping things up!

April 17, 2018 by Ned and Linn Beall

We are beginning to pack and buy for heading back to Papua New Guinea (PNG) in June! We have our tickets and are looking forward to having our Tigak (“tee-gahk”) team back together again.

Ned plans to have his initial draft of Matthew and Luke done before we arrive in PNG. He will be working hard to get as close to the end of the New Testament as possible in the next year.

Please pray that there will be no more damage to our home before we get back. We found out that both of our water tanks were completely empty. Another missionary did repairs to one of them so hopefully we will have one tank with water when we get there. There is no fresh water on the island so in order to live there we have to have functioning water tanks! Ned is going to have various repairs to take care of when we arrive but that is pretty normal. It will be great to be on the ground in the tribe again. So many goals for what we want to see happen over the next year!

This weekend we head to Missouri to see Kara Linn and Anthony graduate from the Ethnos360 missionary training. They will continue with linguistic and Greek courses until December before beginning their support raising time. It is exciting to see them reaching the end of their training.

Savannah is moving ahead with everything needed to head to PNG this summer to teach. You can be praying for her to get her PNG visa quickly and to be able to raise the support she needs before she heads out in July.
