Translation checking

Thank you for praying! God answered – not exactly how we were hoping but we trust that HE knows best. Ned was placed on quarantine and missed his flight into two remote tribes for doing translation checking. Thankfully one of the missionaries has a satellite connection and therefore Ned was able to complete his check remotely.

We are very thankful that the Baker family was willing to host the missionaries and helpers from the second tribe so they could use their internet connection to do their translation check also! It was a blessing that Ned was able to complete the translation checks he had planned to do. It was frustrating that it had to be done virtually when he was all the way in Papua New Guinea.

This week Ned will hopefully be flying on the mission plane to the Tigak Tribe. He will be working on his own translation work and be spending time with the Tigak church. Please continue to pray that Ned’s remaining time in PNG would be profitable!
