About Our Family –

Ned and Linn and our 7 children: Kara Linn, Josiah, Bethany, Savannah, Zachary, Christina and Garrett Beall
Ned and Linn and our 7 children: Kara Linn, Josiah, Bethany, Savannah, Zachary, Christina and Garrett Beall

In our “former life” – we both were engineers.  We met at Texas A&M and began our life together working for defense contractors.  As the years went by we realized more and more that we did not want to spend the rest of our lives doing a desk job.  The Lord began to lead us into full time missions.  When we first began looking for where the Lord wanted us to minister we were looking at short term missions but the Lord continued to close the doors on every avenue we pursued.  Once we committed to quitting jobs and going full time the Lord turned on the green light and we went full speed ahead.

Ned went into New Tribes Mission planning on doing support work as an airplane mechanic.  As we went through the training Ned fell in love with linguistics and gradually felt the Lord leading him to a tribal ministry.  It was a hard adjustment for Linn but we wouldn’t trade our life in the tribe for anything now.  It has been so exciting to see the Lord’s faithful direction and provision as we walk with Him each day.

Our kids are blessed with many experiences they could never have had living in the USA.  It has also been a blessing to be able to spend more time together as a family without all the activities we are involved in when we are home in the USA.

Our Ministry

The Tigak believers with their new Scripture portions.

Ned is currently translating the Bible into the Tigak language.  He has currently completed and checked 60% of the New Testament. He is also working as a translation consultant and travels to other tribes to check the translation done by other missionaries.

Ned will continue to teach and disciple the believers.  We also have two Tigak men who are teaching the believers and doing evangelistic teaching. We are praying that the believers will become more and more burdened for their Tigak brothers who have not been taught yet.
