\"\"<\/a>Last week Linn was attending school committee and other meetings and was notified that the first half of the new Tigak Scriptures had been printed!\u00a0 It worked out perfectly since she was headed back to the island the next day and was able to bring over 100 lbs of Bibles with her on the flight (as overweight luggage).\u00a0 The first book includes all the narratives that have been translated so far, so the Tigak received the book of John for the first time on Sunday.\u00a0 Hopefully by time the kids come home for school break in March the Epistles will be printed.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is always encouraging to see the Word of God placed in the hands of the Tigak people!!<\/p>\n

Please be praying for Zachary\u2019s wrist.\u00a0 Three months ago he sprained it pretty bad with a fall on a motorcycle.\u00a0 It is still causing him pain and keeping him from playing sports.\u00a0 There are no facilities for an MRI in PNG so if it doesn\u2019t improve soon \u2013 it would require a trip out of country and possibly surgery.\u00a0 We are praying that it will improve soon with some physical therapy.\u00a0 We are thankful that he has access to doctors and a physical therapist while he is at school!<\/p>\n

We would also appreciate your prayers for high school teachers for our kids for next year.\u00a0 Zachary will be a senior and we hope he will be able to take Calculus and Physics but taking this via correspondence courses would be a huge challenge!<\/p>\n

Thank you for faithfully remembering us here in Papua New Guinea!\u00a0 We are thankful for technology that allows us to see (sometimes) and talk to our kids in the USA but it is hard watching our granddaughter grow so quickly and not be around.\u00a0 God is faithful to give us the grace we need for each day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
