Thank you for praying for Ned\u2019s hike in and out of a remote tribe to do a
\ntranslation check in April.\u00a0 His knees did not give him ANY problems either
\ndirection.\u00a0 We are so thankful.\u00a0 Ned has been working hard trying to finish
\nthe last of the Tigak Epistles before we head to the USA for Josiah\u2019s
\nwedding in June.\u00a0 It will be a fast trip so we won\u2019t have time to do much
\ntraveling but we will be in Texas for the month of July if any of you want
\nto try to meet up.<\/p>\n
A group of the Tigak believers traveled into a near-by language group last
\nweek to encourage those who are hearing the Gospel for the first time.\u00a0 It
\nwas an encouraging time for our believers and for those hearing the
\nteaching.\u00a0 The Tigak really saw the Lord undertake for them.\u00a0 They traveled
\nby boat from our island for 2 hours and then had a 6 hour hike into the
\nvillage.\u00a0 Both directions they were able to catch a timber company truck for
\npart of the hike.\u00a0 They were so thankful since they are not used to long
\nhikes as a result of living on an island that is only \u00bd mile long!\u00a0 They
\nfound the part of the hike they did do was challenging.\u00a0 They also told how
\nthe Lord provided meat for them to eat.\u00a0 The people there had lots of garden
\nfood and were very generous with it.\u00a0 A random wild pig wandered into the
\nvillage and actually gored a local man requiring 7 stitches by the
\nmissionary.\u00a0 They were able to kill the pig and share the meat around the
\nvillage for several days.<\/p>\n
One of our young new believers made the trip and was a bit apprehensive
\nabout being the only young guy on the trip.\u00a0 He got lots of attention from
\nthe young people of the village, seeing him they began to realize that the
\nteaching was not just for the older adults.\u00a0 Please pray for this young
\nbeliever \u2013 Terrence \u2013 that he will be challenged by the needs he saw and see
\nhow the Lord can use him to reach his young Tigak friends here at home.\u00a0 He
\nhas inroads with many in the \u201ctrouble maker\u201d crowd.\u00a0 We would love to see
\nthese young people as part of the future of the church!<\/p>\n

\nmorning so he really needs healing to make it through the testing time over
\nthe next few days!<\/p>\n
