Yes, that is my parents’ “favorite” one-liner, spoken by _________ on the reality TV show ________ (do you know?).
It’s time for a flashback, folks! Some of you have been following us throughout our four years of training. Many of you have known us LONG before. And others of you may not know our history yet.
When Noe was about 12, he heard the story of a young girl about his age in another country who was being beaten and told to give up her Bible. But she refused, and she was continually beaten. This story, this testimony of love for God and faith in Him inspired Noe and was the first of many things the Lord used to compel him to be involved in reaching the unreached with the Gospel!
When Lisa was 15, she sat through a dinner theater re-enactment of the story of a missionary who was killed for the sake of Christ. This was the first time she learned about people groups without the Bible in their own language. Like Noe’s history, this was the first of many things the Lord used to compel her to be involved in reaching the unreached with the Gospel!

So for both of us, it has been 15-20 years of the Lord preparing, planting, cultivating, and now working out His desire and plan for our lives! As we “toast” in the new year, 2014, let us “toast” together to the next 15-20 years, with the eager anticipation that He will work through His church (people like you and I!) to work out His desire and plan for the lives of the unreached- that they will hear His Gospel clearly for the first time and believe in Jesus Christ, who took our punishment for sin by His death on the cross, offering us forgiveness and eternal life with Him through His death and resurrection!
So we are buckling up! We are planning to move our family overseas in July, just under 7 months from now. Time is flying by, and we are doing paperwork, making plans for packing, and continuing to build our support team. We would like to offer you a specific update on our support team very soon. Stay tuned!
- Please pray with us that He will raise up more laborers for His harvest field!! Both for our support team, and even more that He will raise up more missionaries to GO!
- Pray also for some recent health concerns (personal and family)~ and that in the midst of them, our lives will always bring Him glory.
