\nWell, we have been in PNG for nearly 2 months now, and in
\njust a couple days we will have our first language check! <\/b>There is a CLA
\n(Culture & Language Acquisition) consultant who happens to be in town this
\nweek, and he has offered to do our language checks\/evaluations.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nSo we will both sit down with him and some nationals for a
\ncouple hours to be evaluated on what we\u2019re learning of the culture and how we
\nare filing our data, as well as an extensive evaluation of our progress in
\nlearning the national language, Tok Pisin.<\/div>\n
\nPlease pray that we will think clearly and do our best!<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n(We are also going to have someone give a language check to
\nour girls! They are old enough to learn quite a bit, and they\u2019re doing pretty
\nwell at grasping some basic vocabulary and practical expressions.)<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe time is passing quickly- we are already halfway through
\nour time here in Madang. Can you believe that? J<\/span><\/span>
\nWhen we know more details, we will let you know about our upcoming Bush
\nOrientation (and what that means).<\/div>\n

\nWe are praying a lot these days as we consider partnering
\nwith two other families in a church planting work. JOIN US in praying for this

We made Mexican tacos for some of the believers
