Does the Old Testament matter? Not only does it matter&#8230; it paves the way for the gospel. Can a person understand their need for Jesus without first understanding WHO God is and What sin is and HOW man&#8217;s sin affects him? We are learning a lot about how God reveals himself to us and our need for Him through stories (the historical record of Israel).
