Trusting God with The “Impossible”<\/strong><\/div>\n
As we begin our year of support raising, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness. \u00a0We started out on this journey with a beautiful house in a quiet and scenic location, ministries we enjoyed in our church\u00a0and a\u00a0great job that Paul\u00a0loved. \u00a0Now, in a year we plan to fly to Papua New Guinea and start our “new life” of learning language, moving to a remote tribal location and working with a tribe that has never heard that Jesus died for them.\u00a0 So what changed? \u00a0How did we know to do this when our situation\u00a0in life seemed so right as well? \u00a0The answer:\u00a0God turned our hearts in a new direction. \u00a0We loved “that” but “this” is what He has made us\u00a0passionate about. \u00a0Millions\u00a0of people out in the world with NO Bible in their language and NO ONE to tell them the good news. \u00a0Not only that, but a loving God who chooses to use us, humans, to tell them…\u00a0despite our flaws. \u00a0I have found myself many times on this journey so in awe that He would choose to use us…”really Lord, you are going to let US do THIS?” \u00a0When we started praying that God would direct, the doors flew open. \u00a0Within a few months of praying our house was sold, Emmanuella was adopted and\u00a0our boys were excited about missions after going to Wayumi<\/a>. \u00a0In 2014 we entered New Tribes Mission of Canada’s training center, Emanate<\/a>. \u00a0Through the training God continued to prove His faithfulness through His provision for our family and through His continued work in our lives. \u00a0In December of 2015 we graduated from Emanate which to us was a testament of God’s faithfulness and the completion of one more step on our journey.<\/div>\n

\nSo will God be faithful this year? \u00a0Many have wondered if we can raise the funds to live in such a remote location. \u00a0We can’t, but God can. \u00a0If there is something we want people to see and understand through our family this year… it is that we serve a BIG GOD! \u00a0He owns it all and He knows each and every person in that village…our village, by name. \u00a0He has a plan. \u00a0Will His plan always look exactly like we think if should? \u00a0No, but we can trust Him.\u00a0 We are not worried. \u00a0He never changes. \u00a0He is always faithful.<\/div>\n
