All the good from The Savior of the world is communicated to us through this Book.\u201d<\/em>\u2015\u00a0<strong>Abraham Lincoln<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Have you ever \u201cgoogled\u201d how many English translations and partial translations exist of the Bible?\u00a0 The short answer: hundreds!\u00a0 We are a privileged people and so often we take this for granted.\u00a0 This month, dear friends of ours are celebrating the completion of the New Testament and major sections of the Old Testament in the language of the tribe that they worked with for years until that country forced them to leave.\u00a0 While outside of the tribal village, their team took on the task of finishing the translation which is so necessary for the maturing young church!\u00a0 Why do missionaries put in thousands of hours of Bible translation, sometimes remotely working with consultants and native speakers, sometimes working through sickness other obstacles?\u00a0 Because these are the Words of Life!\u00a0 Do we grow without God\u2019s Word?\u00a0 Neither will these brothers and sisters over the ocean!\u00a0 So, not only will our team be teaching through the Bible, but we will not be finished the work in Papua New Guinea until the villagers can read their language and have copies of God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 It is a monumental task.\u00a0 Why do this?\u00a0 If we were unreached and our children and our grandchildren\u2026we would want this done for us!\u00a0 We, as parents, spend years teaching our children this way\u2026we want to teach others thoroughly also!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_459\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-459\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-459 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/swensontribe.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/05\/dscn2934-copy.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"DSCN2934 - Copy\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-459\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NTM Headquarters in Sanford, FL<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><strong>Take A Road Trip with US!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#008000;\">We are planning on bringing a group to WAYUMI\u2026 an exposure program in Pennsylvania on the weekend of October 21<sup>st<\/sup> through 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 We will be organizing rides for people from Vermont specifically, but if you\u2019ve never been, come join us for an immersion experience into tribal missions.\u00a0 All ages welcome!\u00a0 Contact us at<\/span> <u><a href=\"http:\/\/paul_swenson@ntm.org\">paul_swenson@ntm.org<\/a><\/u><br \/>\n<strong>Team Up with Us\u2026<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>If you are interested in getting a monthly list of prayer requests from us&#8230;just send us an e-mail at swensontribe@gmail.com and we will add you to our prayer team. \u00a0Thanks!\u00a0 Interested\u00a0in partnering with us financially?
