Well folks, things are under way.\u00a0 If you have not been following our closed Facebook group, \u201cSwenson Tribe\u201d, let me give you a few highlights.\u00a0 God is teaching us to trust Him more and more with the details as we see Him providing in unexpected ways.\u00a0 When the chainsaws kept breaking, something was always running and the wood kept being cut.\u00a0 When our cargo shipment was very \u201clate\u201d, we were able to borrow other equipment.\u00a0 The shipment\u00a0did<\/strong>\u00a0come in time for the chopper shuttles this week and Hazen and I (Ellen) were able to fly to Madang province and sort it this weekend and put it in separate chopper shuttling piles.\u00a0 Some is needed now, and some later.\u00a0 As I write this, the helicopter is shuttling things from a point along a road where a truck has brought our stuff and then into Tanguat.\u00a0 The truck was able to drive up the road a bit, cutting down the amount of time the helicopter had to fly which will save us a lot of money!\u00a0 We are thankful for all our friends that were able to help with that.\u00a0 I guess we have to learn it again and again, but God is so faithful with the little details of our lives and He knows how and when He wants things to happen for His glory.\u00a0 The Tanguat and Inapang men are a big help to Paul and Derek and the guys are doing very well.\u00a0 The Tanguat people are feeding them and helping them get drinking water every day!\u00a0 What a blessing!<\/div>\n<\/header>\n

What the rest of the tribe has been up to\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The kids are working hard on school.\u00a0 We have a few special activities happening around here to distract us while the men are gone.\u00a0 Last weekend was PNG Independence Day and this week Sam\u2019s Junior class will put on a fun night for the missionaries with burgers and games.<\/p>\n

Building Fund Update:\u00a0 Our building project is completely funded!\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Safety for the guys building and great progress.<\/li>\n
  • Everyone is working well together.<\/li>\n
  • A builder, Jacob Devine, is joining them today to start construction. There will still be a milling team but now they will divide up and work on building the houses as well.<\/li>\n
  • The kids are doing great in school and enjoying being around all the MKs and activities that happen on our two centers here in the highlands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Continued energy and health for the guys. Paul is getting very tired.<\/li>\n
    • For our two families as we eagerly await reuniting with the Dads\u2026 we are half way there!!!<\/li>\n
