NTM will then issue you a tax-deductible receipt.\u00a0 We have access to 100% of our funds.\u00a0 Before the money comes to the field, we have certain things deducted\u2026.like medical insurance, retirement and even federal taxes.\u00a0 We are so thankful for our co-workers in the US that handle all these transactions for us.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>More To Be Thankful For<\/h3>\n<p>While some of you are knee-deep in snow, some of our locals have been chest-deep in water.\u00a0 We are currently in the middle of our rainy season\u2026.and it started with a bang!!!\u00a0 We got so much rain that a local river rose 10 feet overnight!\u00a0 Many have had their gardens either swallowed up by the river or completely covered.<\/p>\n<p>Papua New Guinea is a very lush land.\u00a0 Here in the Highlands, their gardens are a literal cornucopia of fresh vegetables.\u00a0 Yet many have had their entire crop destroyed.\u00a0 Most rely on their gardens not only for their basic nutritional needs but also for extra income.<\/p>\n<p>So what are we thankful for?\u00a0 Well, thankfully the rains have clamed down SOME.\u00a0 While the rivers are still very high, the grounds are starting to dry out.\u00a0 Please join us in praying for our local friends and villages here in the Highlands.\u00a0 We are anticipating a very lean time for many and we want to be culturally wise as we offer assistance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2013\/02\/DSC05608s.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-269\" title=\"DSC05608s\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2013\/02\/DSC05608s-213x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"213\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2013\/02\/DSC05608s-213x300.jpg 213w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2013\/02\/DSC05608s.jpg 313w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 213px) 100vw, 213px\" \/><\/a>One More Thing To Be Thankful For<\/h3>\n<p>When we stop to think about it, we really have so much to be thankful for.\u00a0 Since we have God\u2019s Word in our own language, we can know for sure the wonderful plan of salvation in Jesus Christ.\u00a0 We have a warm, dry place to sleep and plenty of food.\u00a0 We really have so much to be thankful for!<\/p>\n<p>Well one more thing we are super excited and thankful for is a new addition to our family.\u00a0 Come August we will be increasing our family size by two feet.\u00a0 That\u2019s right, we are expecting again!\u00a0 We are so thankful that an early ultrasound shows our little Blueberry waving, flipping and hiccuping for us.<\/p>\n<p>As with Phoebe, we will have to head to the States to have little Blueberry.\u00a0 We need to be back in the US by late June.\u00a0 We are hoping to only be gone from PNG for around 6 months as we are tremendously short-staffed in the hangar.<\/p>\n<p>Please join us in praying for a healthy pregnancy and little Blueberry.\u00a0 We also need a place to stay while in the US.
