(max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a>Here on our field headquarters we have over 80 national workers that help us in a variety of tasks\u2026.office workers, maintenance, security, house help, aviation help, medical workers.\u00a0 On top of their invaluable assistance, we are also able to develop friendships (especially for those of us who don\u2019t get off center much).<\/p>\n<p>Early in January several of the missionaries here began teaching a daily Bible class to all our workers.\u00a0 Normally these lessons are done in tok ples, their native language.\u00a0 But since we have several different languages represented in our group, these lessons were done in the national trade language, Tok Pisin.<\/p>\n<p>Every day, for over 6 weeks, the team of teachers, including some national Believers from one of our remote tribal locations, taught starting in Genesis and focusing on who God is and who we are before Him \u2014 our lost and fallen state <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/20150201-untitled-0496smaller.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-436\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/20150201-untitled-0496smaller-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"20150201-untitled-0496smaller\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/20150201-untitled-0496smaller-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/20150201-untitled-0496smaller.jpg 448w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>with NOTHING we can do to make it right.\u00a0 They used object lessons that really went to the core of some of the wrong beliefs about how to be right with God.<\/p>\n<p>A few attending are already Believers and have been enjoying this time in God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 Many attending are not and we are praying that their hearts will be softened and that they will trust Christ as their Savior.\u00a0 We have heard of many already showing signs of excitement and trust in these truths.\u00a0 Please pray with us that many will turn to Jesus.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Finance Update<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We recently asked many of you to be praying about our financial situation.\u00a0 NTM a recommended support level for each field of service (and each family size).\u00a0 Unfortunately most missionaries are well under being 100% supported.<\/p>\n<p>We found ourselves in that situation when we returned in May 2014.\u00a0 Having made so many trips back and forth to the US in the last 5 years (marriage and two babies) we had depleted our savings and were struggling with all the extra expenses.<\/p>\n<p>We sure do appreciate all your prayers especially regarding our finances.\u00a0 We also are so thankful for those of you who give.\u00a0 We recently received several extra gifts that have helped us to get out of debt to the PNG field and even begin saving for emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>It is our desire to be good stewards of what the Lord has entrusted to us.\u00a0 If you have any questions about how our finances are handled please don\u2019t hesitate to contact us.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Kodiak Training Trip<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In early March Paul will head back to the US for a few weeks of maintenance training for our new Kodiak aircraft.\u00a0 Daddy will be missed by all <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/Two-Kodiaks.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-440\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/Two-Kodiaks-300x133.jpg\" alt=\"Two Kodiaks\" width=\"300\" height=\"133\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/Two-Kodiaks-300x133.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/Two-Kodiaks-600x267.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2015\/02\/Two-Kodiaks.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>as this will be the longest he has been away from home.\u00a0 We can rest knowing that this vital training will help Paul prepare to maintain and service our two Kodiak aircraft that will be heading to PNG.\u00a0 <em>(And we can anticipate the goodies from America that he will bring back with him too!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While he is gone, Andrea is excited to have a dear friend, Kathy Purves, come and help with the kids for a couple of weeks.\u00a0 Kathy is the children\u2019s director at South Potomac Church, our sending church.\u00a0 We are so thankful for SPC loaning Aunt Kathy to us and also for the many folks who contributed to the costs of her trip.\u00a0 With no grandparents or day cares near by Andrea is going to rely heavily on Kathy to help get through this time of family separation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Praise &amp; Prayer Requests<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Praise \u2014 Increase in financial support!<\/li>\n<li>Praise \u2014\u00a0 The NTM aviation audit here in PNG (in November) went well!<\/li>\n<li>Praise\/Pray \u2014\u00a0 Jon Leedahl (pilot who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident) and family are still in Australia as Jon continues to recover.\u00a0 Pray for a complete healing of his stump so that they can move forward with getting him fitted for a prosthetic.<\/li>\n<li>Pray \u2014\u00a0 Our time of family separation and travel mercies for Paul and Kathy.<\/li>\n<li>Pray \u2014\u00a0\u00a0 Wisdom and energy as we raise Phoebe (3) and Joshua (18 months).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here on our
