And yes, we met and courted in PNG.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-672\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" data-wp-editing=\"1\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar-600x801.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar-82x110.jpg 82w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar-187x250.jpg 187w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar-190x253.jpg 190w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/04\/Paul-back-to-work-in-hangar.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>What:\u00a0 <\/strong>What exactly are the Wilsons doing in PNG?\u00a0 Paul is using his years of aircraft experience to keep our fleet running.\u00a0 We currently have 3 single-engine Kodiak airplanes and one Bell Long Ranger helicopter.\u00a0 These aircraft are vital in the church planting effort.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ehtnos360 has teams of missionaries living in remote jungle places in order to share the Gospel and plant churches.\u00a0 In order for these teams to function our aviation department is their lifeline for supplies and transportation.\u00a0 While Paul does that, Andrea is currently homeschooling Phoebe (1st grade) and Joshua (Kindergarten).\u00a0 Which is a greater struggle, a temperamental child or a temperamental helicopter?\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>How:\u00a0 <\/strong>How are we able to do this? It is only with the Lord\u2019s power!\u00a0 Just like you, we need it every day.\u00a0 We are amazed at God\u2019s faithfulness and how He has provided over and over again.\u00a0 As we mentioned in our last update we do not get a salary from our mission, but rely on contributions from churches and supporters.\u00a0 Yes, our God continues to be faithful and by His design He uses the body of believers! Together we will see HIM reach the unreached through the body. For it is in the daily struggles of this task that HE grows each one of us.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Why <\/strong>do we go? God\u2019s Word is pretty clear that He wants us to take the Gospel, His wonderful plan of salvation through His Son Jesus, to all the nations (Matthew 28:19).\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Yes, there are needs in our home countries and plenty of folks who have never really understood or heard the clear Good News of Christ.\u00a0 The difference between them and say the tribes here in PNG is the availability of the Gospel and the numbers of ministering Christians.\u00a0 Someone seeking to know more about Jesus has so many avenues to explore in the US\u2026 all in their own language and explained within their own culture.\u00a0 This is not even partially true for many parts of the world, like here in PNG.\u00a0 So many people groups still do not have a single verse of the Bible in their language nor do they have one, <strong>not even one<\/strong>, Christian worker to help them!\u00a0 We are not trying to downplay the importance of Christian ministries in the US, but rather point out a great need world-wide.
