{"id":700,"date":"2019-12-14T07:42:54","date_gmt":"2019-12-14T11:42:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/?p=700"},"modified":"2019-12-14T07:42:54","modified_gmt":"2019-12-14T11:42:54","slug":"emergency-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/2019\/12\/14\/emergency-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Emergency Trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-701\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-267x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"267\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-267x300.jpg 267w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-768x862.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-600x674.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-98x110.jpg 98w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-223x250.jpg 223w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized-225x253.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/paul-wilson\/files\/2019\/12\/IMG_20180401_112943163-2resized.jpg 1334w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/>Instead of sending out an update with news from PNG (a new tribal church has been born!!!) or exciting stories of the kid\u2019s first Christmas concert (we celebrated tonight!!!), we are writing to let you know that Andrea\u2019s mom, Diana (Donna) Annunziata, passed into the presence of her Savior on Thursday, December 12.\u00a0 After meeting with our leadership here, talking with family, and praying constantly, we decided that it would be best if all 4 of us travel back to the States for this time.<\/p>\n<p>So, we depart tomorrow (Sunday for us) with the <em>plans<\/em> of Paul and the kids returning to PNG just after the New Year so they will be ready for the next school semester.\u00a0 Andrea will remain in the States and help settle her mom\u2019s estate.\u00a0 We have never had to purchase tickets so quickly, and getting tickets from PNG to the States is never easy.\u00a0 Thankfully, the Lord provided easy routes (really, when you are flying so far for so long NOTHING is easy) with good layovers.\u00a0 And Andrea\u2019s ticket actually cost less than normal.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!!\u00a0 We are planning on being in Maryland by Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for 3 round-trip tickets and 1 one-way ticket at this time of the year was not exciting\u2026\u2026close to $12,000!\u00a0 Obviously, we were not anticipating this type of expense right now.\u00a0 We do have some emergency savings and are thankful that our credit cards have high limits!<\/p>\n<p>So here are a few prayer points that we would like to share with you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfort for Andrea and the family as we grieve the loss of Grammy<\/li>\n<li>Good health \u2013 we are prone to get sick when we travel back to the States, especially when we do it in winter!!!!<\/li>\n<li>Good transitions \u2013 this is going to be a whirlwind trip and jet lag is hard on us, especially the older 2 of the Wilsons.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude0a<\/li>\n<li>Finances \u2013 As mentioned above, we are trusting the Lord to provide the extra funds.\u00a0 If you would like to help contribute towards this expense, please drop us an email.\u00a0 You can give online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ethnos360.org\/give\">www.ethnos360.org\/give<\/a> or by sending a check made out to our organization at:\n<ul>\n<li>Ethnos360<\/li>\n<li>312 W 1st St<\/li>\n<li>Sanford, FL 32771.<\/li>\n<li>(Attach a note that it is for Paul and Andrea Wilson).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The memorial service, a celebration of Diana Annunziata\u2019s life, will be held at South Potomac Church in White Plains, Maryland, on Saturday, December 21, from 2:00-4:00pm.
