\"\"We are the Downings– Payton, Grace, Finn, and Evelyn. Payton’s originally from Central California, Grace is from Michigan. As a couple, we’re from Colorado, where we met in 2007. At that time we both already had some interest in missions work, but as we starting dating, God continued to grow that interest in us together. We married in 2009 and started training through Ethnos360 the next year. In 2015 we moved to Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n

Right now, we are in language study, getting ready to work alongside the Taliabo church through Bible translation and mobilization. Our hope and prayer is that one day the Taliabo will have the the rest of the Scriptures in their language as well as have the tools to reach out beyond their own borders with the Gospel. We would love to see the Taliabo church one day equipped to send out missionaries into their own island region. For the majority of people, this part of the world is the \u201cends of the earth,\u201d but for the Taliabo it is their own backyard! Pray for us, our teammates (the Rieds), and the Taliabo church as we together seek to have a lasting impact on the Kingdom of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
