I got the privilege of helping shave the pig&#8217;s foot before rushing off to my small group study. Payton was left to learn the art of suturing. I might just stick to mending fabric.<\/p>\n<p>Another much-awaited event, although not quite as smelly as pig feet, was our final elinc gathering of the semester. Everyone turned out for a grill-out\/bbq\/potluck and a boat ride. Sounds like we are living the dream, huh?! A side note: our training does not usually involve boat rides<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paytonandgrace.com\/2013\/06\/pigs-feet-and-another-party\/brett-grilling\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2054\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2054\" alt=\"brett grilling\" src=\"http:\/\/paytonandgrace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/brett-grilling.jpg\" width=\"420\" height=\"560\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There was extreme grilling and a radically daring way to eat a burger. Katie taught me how burgers are done on the east coast. Apparently you need chili and coleslaw. It was amazing. I&#8217;m drooling now just thinking of it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paytonandgrace.com\/2013\/06\/pigs-feet-and-another-party\/katie-and-the-burger\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2055\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2055\" alt=\"katie and the burger\" src=\"http:\/\/paytonandgrace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/katie-and-the-burger.jpg\" width=\"436\" height=\"327\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paytonandgrace.com\/2013\/06\/pigs-feet-and-another-party\/addy-and-potato-salad\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2056\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2056\" alt=\"addy and potato salad\" src=\"http:\/\/paytonandgrace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/addy-and-potato-salad.jpg\" width=\"420\" height=\"560\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Addie was quite apprehensive when it came to the potato salad. Usually I am too, so I understood her fear.<\/p>\n<p>All of the ladies had no qualms about the burgers.
