July 2007 loft update

June 26, 2007 by Peter and Leah Humphreys

Floors in the first room

Thank you for all the quick notes of love and support. It has been a long, hot day working on the floors, and the job is almost done!

Pray for Peter and for John Bender as they get the last rows down in the bedroom. Even though it’s almost 8:30 at night, it’s still over 85° F up there. Pray that John and Peter won’t get too weary and start beating up on each other!!

John and Peter, hard at work on the floors.Oh, too late!

I’d better take them some ice-cream bars…

Thanks for praying! Peter has reserved the floor sander for tomorrow, so he’s determined to finish laying the floor tonight.

We appreciate all of you!

Hugs, Leah

P.S. For those of you who were worried, the floor stain turned out to be Golden Pecan, and not Early American Blonde. Whew!
