\"\"<\/a>One of the highlights of my summer (Jackie) was going on a mission trip to Mexico in June. I want to thank those of you who prayed for me or helped financially. The trip helped remind me of how we need to be faithful in getting the Gospel out to folks even when we feel uncomfortable or inadequate doing it. I did not feel that my Spanish was very good but the Lord used my poor ability (as only He can) to help bring some new lives into the Kingdom! We saw almost 150 patients and had 56 make professions of faith. We, also, had 141 kids in VBS and 7 make professions of faith along with 2 adults on a home visit. Of course, only God knows their hearts, so we can pray that they truly understood the simplicity of the Gospel and that they will be followed up by the Mexican pastors so that they can grow in their faith.\"\" \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
