Prayer<\/strong> is important, yet so often we don\u2019t do it.\u00a0 Sadly when God answers prayer we fail to give Him thanks.\u00a0 We want to take this opportunity to thank God for all He has done in our lives and ministry over the last few months, and thank Him for what He has done and is doing in the lives of our children.\u00a0 God has been good to us.\u00a0 We want to say thank you, also, to all of you who have prayed for us and given financially so that we can continue serving here in Florida at our mission\u2019s home office.\u00a0 We appreciate all who have partnered with us.\u00a0 God is building His church and you, along with us, have had a small part in being His hands and feet to accomplish His work in the tribes around the world.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our Family<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because you prayed <\/strong>– New Job!\u00a0 Our son, Jason, and his wife, Tiffany, along with our two grandsons, Jaxon and Mason, live in Colorado.\u00a0 Jason was recently hired by the power company, a job that will keep him closer to home, something he has wanted for a long time.\u00a0 We enjoy the modern marvel of Skype so that we can see our grand- children growing up, even though they live far away. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because you prayed – <\/strong>Graduation!\u00a0 We have known from the day that she was born that our daughter, Heather, was not an angel.\u00a0 However, we are proud to announce that, regardless, she has now earned her wings.\u00a0 In July, we were privileged\u00a0 to attend her graduation from flight school and see her receive her wings.\u00a0 Now she is an official pilot!\u00a0 Pray for her safety in all this, but more importantly, for spiritual safety in a very secular world.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because you prayed –<\/strong> Life spared!\u00a0 We praise God for sparing our son\u2019s life.\u00a0 Cody was on his way to morning classes at his college in Jacksonville when his pickup truck was tee-boned and knocked off the street onto its side.\u00a0 He managed to crawl out the window with the help of a Good Samaritan.\u00a0 His truck was totaled as well as the other car.\u00a0 The other driver had a broken ankle.\u00a0 Cody suffered some whiplash, but has managed to stay in school and do some part time work on weekends.\u00a0 Please pray for complete recovery for him and for the other driver.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because you prayed <\/strong>– We confess that we can\u2019t always figure out what God is doing in our lives or in those of our children.\u00a0 Our youngest daughter, Haley, is in such a class.\u00a0 She did some part time work this summer, but did not make enough to return to Bible School.\u00a0 Somehow, we know that even this is part of God\u2019s plan for her life and ours.\u00a0 Please pray for her, that she would find a full or part-time job soon in order to save up money to go back to school if that is what the Lord has for her.\u00a0 We pray this will be a growing and learning time for her, as well. She, also, needs wisdom about whether to buy a car at this time or not.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
