{"id":713,"date":"2010-02-10T01:50:39","date_gmt":"2010-02-10T05:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/phil-burns\/?p=713"},"modified":"2010-02-10T01:50:39","modified_gmt":"2010-02-10T05:50:39","slug":"pray-for-phil-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/phil-burns\/2010\/02\/10\/pray-for-phil-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Pray for Phil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi! \u00a0Just a quick note to ask you to <strong>pray for Phil<\/strong>. \u00a0He started<br \/>\nfeeling bad on Saturday (about 10 days ago). \u00a0At first we thought he<br \/>\nhad the flu and he just stayed home in bed. \u00a0Later he developed<br \/>\nsymptoms of a urinary tract infection. \u00a0Then that went away and he<br \/>\nthought he was a little better, just to end up with a high fever<br \/>\nagain. \u00a0We finally started getting suspicious that it might be a<br \/>\nkidney infection but it was the weekend so we decided to wait until<br \/>\nMonday to see a doctor. \u00a0We thought that the doctor would just give us an<br \/>\nantibiotic and send us home but instead he sent him straight to the<br \/>\nhospital! \u00a0After 2 days in the hospital, Phil is still having high<br \/>\nfevers (up to 103.6) and chills. \u00a0They know he has a urinary tract<br \/>\ninfection but I think are trying to find the cause of it and trying to<br \/>\nfind out if the infection got into the blood stream (sepsis) which can<br \/>\nbe more serious. \u00a0They have already tried two antibiotics which did<br \/>\nnot help and hope the third one they started today will be the right one<br \/>\nto knock the infection out. \u00a0Please pray with us for wisdom for the<br \/>\ndoctors and that the infection will soon be cleared up. \u00a0<strong>Thank you so<br \/>\nmuch for your prayers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jackie for the Burns Bunch<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a quick note to ask you to pray for Phil.
