February 21, 2011! If you were a Mwinika person living in the immediate vicinity we would be asking you to mark this date on your calendar. This is the date we have set for the start of the Bible teaching. There is a lot of work that we need to do to be ready for that day but it is finally set.<\/p>\n
Please pray for us that we will be able to get everything ready to start teaching then. Pray also for the people around here that their hearts will be ready to hear God\u2019s Word taught.<\/p>\n
Specific Prayer Checklist as we count down to February 21st:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Clear out the teaching site. Currently it is an abandoned plot of land well overgrown with bushes, grass and jungle life. We are praying that the community will take this on as a project and work along with us to clear the site. Eventually our prayer is that they will see the need to build a simple shelter for the teaching because of the rainy season, but first things first.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Finish the translation that will be needed. Phil is working with his guys to finish up the final stages and prepare for a consultant visit in a few weeks.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Finish the lesson development (70 plus lessons total, we would like to have at least 40 ready by the time teaching starts).<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Practice and preparation for the Bible teaching for both Phil and Francois.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 In general just trying to get out and about and spend time with people, encouraging them to come and hear what God\u2019s Word has to say to them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
