NTM Aviation Expo 2014

November 24, 2014 by Phil and Ellen Koop

IMG_0607_VerdonckOctober 25 Phil along with about 35 of our teammates from McNeal put on an NTM Aviation Expo at the Chandler Municipal Airport in Chandler, Arizona.

You would have enjoyed being able to see and hear how God is using NTM Aviation pilots and aircraft in many remote regions in the cause of Christ. We took two Kodiak aircraft, a Cessna 185, Cessna 206 and an R-44 helicopter to the event.  A missionary pilot was on hand at each aircraft to discuss how that particular aircraft was being used on one of our mission fields.

We are particularly excited about sending our new Kodiak plane into service in Papua New Guinea.  (One of the Kodiaks was on display and the other was giving free rides that day.)  It will serve in many ways to transport missionary families, supplies and equipment, and even tribal people in times of emergency. In fact, the Kodiak will be an invaluable workhorse, and you would have loved seeing it in action or being one who was able to take a free ride.

I hope you’ll remember to pray for this plane to be a blessing – and for the safety and well-being of our pilots and missionaries who are helping tribal people discover the love of Jesus Christ.
