The Kodiak has landed! Wednesday, July 22, Kodiak N110KQ landed in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG).
“Your aircraft is cleared,” pronounced the official, and the Kodiak breezed through customs.
The following day, the plane flew to the NTM Aviation hangar in Goroka.
Missionary Erin Verdonck was in the crowd waiting to greet NTM Aviation’s first Kodiak to arrive in PNG. “We are so, so excited!” said Erin. “It won’t be long now before [the Kodiak] is operational and serving the missionaries and people of Papua New Guinea!”
All the missionaries of PNG thank the Body of Christ for their participation to see this day arrive! For the prayers of the saints — even when the reality of a Kodiak seemed unattainable. For donor’s sacrificial gifts — even when the cost seemed so high. For continued interest –– even when the project stretched over years. For enthusiasm –– to track the Kodiak as it flew the long journey across the Pacific. For trust –– in God, who never fails to do the utmost to bring His Word to people in the most remote locations on earth. But most of all — thanks to NTM Aviation’s financial partners that made this aircraft a reality.
Praise God with us for His goodness and faithfulness to deliver this first Kodiak to PNG. Two more to go! We’ll keep you posted!
