Today’s the Day!

Airborne for PNG

Did you check the weather channel lately to track the winds over the Pacific? Probably not. But that’s the kind of info ferry pilot Leon needs in order to plan Kodiak #3’s flight to Papua New Guinea.

And he’s found a window of favorable winds!

Today, April 30, Leon took off from Wichita, KS. Next stop — California.   A stop in Hawaii. A layover in the Marshall Islands. And before you know it, Kodiak N118KQ will be landing in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. You can track him by clicking here. (Click on the plus sign to show the complete track including the starting flight from McNeal to Wichita.)

Your prayers are essential as the Kodiak flies. Ask God for the winds to stay favorable. Pray for Leon to stay alert as he flies long and monotonous hours. Petition the Lord for the Kodiak to function just as it should. Request the safe arrival of this God-given mission tool.

Thankful for your participation by prayer.
