Don’t you just love those Facebook prompts that reminds you of what you did on a certain day ___ years ago? Well, this morning as I was scrolling through my feed, a reminder came up about a video that we had shared 11 years ago. It would have been into our second year here at the training center in Missouri. PJ was on the construction team and was also the volunteer coordinator here. We had a wonderful group of volunteer who came to help us construct a new student housing here on the campus. In the course of one week, volunteers along with our missionaries on the construction team were able to accomplish a task that would have taken our guys weeks to accomplish. Over the last 12 years, we have been blessed by all of the volunteers who have given their time, expertise, and most importantly their friendship and encouragement to us. We have been blessed with ministry partners who have supported us, prayed with us, laughed and cried with us, as well as cheered us on both while they were here and when they went home. Over and over we have heard our colleagues over the years tell of times when they too have been blessed, not only by the work accomplished but by the listening ear, caring hearts, and faithful words of those who have come to be a blessing during their time of vacation or retirement. Won’t you consider joining our volunteers who come as teams or individuals to make a difference in the lives of our Ethnos Training staff and students.
PJ continues to be the volunteer coordinator here at Ethnos Training. Get in contact to see how you can be involved.
