Reality Stinks, Sometimes

January 5, 2010 by Rachel Chapman

Our foundation... still not quite done
Our foundation... still not quite done

The pilots that fly for our organization were flying over our area on Sunday and took this picture for us.  This is pretty much how we left it over two weeks ago.  We had planned, had understood that the construction crew would be finished with the foundation and walls by next week.  But, now, it appears that it will not be so.

We had planned a trip with a work team for next week to work on our bond-beam and floor.  We’ve canceled the work team, but the guys from our team will be going in to see what they can do to continue the work on our house.  And, they’ll be preparing the sites for the other two houses.
