{"id":1160,"date":"2012-06-08T16:41:46","date_gmt":"2012-06-08T21:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/?p=1160"},"modified":"2012-06-28T15:14:51","modified_gmt":"2012-06-28T20:14:51","slug":"rural-television-neighbors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/2012\/06\/08\/rural-television-neighbors\/","title":{"rendered":"Rural Television: Neighbors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you live in a rural community everyone knows everyone.\u00a0 And, everyone knows everyone&#8217;s business.\u00a0 We have learned that there is NOTHING sacred or private in our lives.\u00a0 Our neighbors see when we go to the bathroom in the outhouse.\u00a0 Even at night, they can tell by the flashlight making it&#8217;s way to the facilities.\u00a0 They know who visits the house, how long they stay.\u00a0 They can tell us our daily routine, who wakes up when and when we go to bed.<\/p>\n<p>They have laughed in delight as they watched us chase my co-workers&#8217;
